What role does NouvelleView play in the moving process?
With NouvelleView, you are engaging a service that handles EVERY aspect of your move, starting with the pre-planning and ending with the last unpacked box. Just as a wedding planner takes care of every detail of a wedding, so do we attend to the countless details involved in executing a successful move.
Why can't I handle the move myself?
Moving is one of life’s most stressful experiences, which you can avoid by engaging NouvelleView. We take care of everything - before, during and after the transition – leaving you free to focus on other important matters.
Using us, there are no surprises. By mapping out each phase of your move beforehand, we maximize efficiencies and costs. And, by using our proven vendors, you receive the highest quality of service at highly competitive fees.
Why can't I just hire a moving company?
The movers' primary role in the relocation process is to pack and lift boxes. Our services extend well beyond. For example, movers won't organize, sort and cull your things before the move, or arrange disposal of unwanted items.
Moving companies don't take responsibility for maintaining schedules and budgets, supervising packing of fine arts and other valuables, or setting up your new home. With NouvelleView, you are assured that your possessions will end up where they should, in the same condition as before the move.
"Will you work with our moving company?"
Yes. We certainly can work with your mover. If you wish, we can also obtain additional quotes from proven vendors including those specializing in fine arts. NouvelleView's role with all vendors is arms-length, with no mark-up to you.
What is my involvement as a client in the process?
NouvelleView meets with you to determine the scope of your move, your priorities, timeline and budget. Next, we present you a customized plan detailing every stage of your move. After the plan is agreed, we take care of everything. You don't have to lift a finger.
How you keep track of my things during the move?
Our proprietary packing method, The NV System™, includes a systematic labeling and tracking technology that allows us to earmark each item for delivery to a specific location. A complete inventory is compiled and updated, so you can locate any item with ease at any stage of your move.
Is hiring NouvelleView cost effective?
With NouvelleView, the customer pays us a flat hourly rate that is offset by the savings realized by our expertise in negotiating the best prices with proven vendors. You also benefit from savings incurred through: organizing and planning; using detailed packing specs and supervision procedures that protect your possessions from damage; inventory tracking to avoid loss; and, schedule and budget controls that prevents overtime and extra costs.
Can you help with the administrative details of the move?
If our client wishes, we take care of everything, from facilitating installation of utilities and media systems, to carefully documenting inventory and moving expenses.
I have valuable art and furniture. How would you handle that?"
