Case Study: The Dakota Move
In December, 2007, NouvelleView Co-Founder, Juliana Terian, found herself with less than thirty days to move out of her sprawling, 15-room apartment in the Dakota building in New York City. The apartment was home to museum quality antique furnishings, 700 pieces of art and eleven chandeliers. To make matters worse, Juliana had to complete the entire move – and find temporary housing – over the holidays.
Realizing the job was well beyond the scope of an ordinary moving company, Juliana asked her friend and associate, Pamela Muller, to handle the monumental task.
Pamela devised a master plan that including coordinating and overseeing four specialty moving companies, three realtors, a team of decorators, art consultants and museum curators, as well as audio/visual and computer tech. In addition, a grand piano had to be hoisted, with a special crane, from the second story of the apartment.
Thanks to Pamela's flawless planning and phenomenal organizational skills, this highly complex project was completed on time – and was a complete success. Just imagine what we can do for your next move.
